Miami Beach to Port of Miami

Over the MacArthur Causeway with the ships already in view. Short, scenic, and much busier on a Saturday morning than the map suggests.

What this transfer costs

This route is not on our published airport rate table, so we price it individually rather than quote you a number that does not fit the trip. Tell us the pickup address, the date and how many are travelling and you will have a flat price back the same day — and like every fare we quote, the price we give is the price you pay.

See our published rates for the routes we run most often, or ask for a price on this one.

Spending a night or two on Miami Beach before sailing is the smart way to cruise, and it makes embarkation morning easy: five miles across the MacArthur Causeway, with the ships lined up ahead of you the whole way.

The distance is short but the timing is not trivial. Collins Avenue and the causeway approach both back up badly on a cruise Saturday, and hotel porte-cocheres in South Beach are tight, which is why we plan the pickup point in advance for anything bigger than an SUV.

Hotel pickups on the Beach

Your driver meets you in the hotel lobby or at the entrance, whichever the property prefers, and helps load. We know which South Beach hotels have a usable driveway and which require a kerbside pickup on a side street — for a coach that distinction matters.

We cover the whole barrier island: South Beach, Mid-Beach, North Beach, Bal Harbour, Surfside and Sunny Isles.

Vehicles

Which vehicle for this run

Every vehicle below runs this route. If you are between two sizes, tell us the luggage count as well as the headcount — bags decide it more often than seats.

Sedan or Nautilus

1–4 passengers. Easy on this route — fits any hotel entrance.

Tahoe or Escalade

4–6 passengers. The standard family booking with cruise luggage.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

7–14 passengers. Groups staying on the Beach before sailing. Still fits most hotel driveways.

Mini coach / motorcoach

15–56 passengers. Wedding parties and group sailings. We confirm the loading point with the hotel beforehand.

Good to know

Questions about this route.

What time should we leave the hotel?

For a typical embarkation window, leaving Miami Beach between 10:30 and 11:30 works well. Earlier than that and you queue at the terminal; much later and you are into the busiest part of the morning.

Can you collect from several hotels?

Yes. For groups spread across a few properties we plan a pickup order that keeps the total time down. Send us the hotel list and we will route it.

Do you serve Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles?

Yes — the whole barrier island up to the county line. Those are a little further out, so we adjust the pickup time accordingly.

Can you take our luggage if we check out early?

We can collect you and your bags later in the day, or hold the luggage in the vehicle while you have a last few hours on the beach.
