Miami to Orlando looks like an obvious flight until you add it up. The flight is fifty minutes, but with the drive to MIA, bag drop, security, boarding, the flight, and getting out of MCO, you are at four hours door to door — the same as simply driving, without any of the queues.
For a family or a group it is not close. One vehicle, one price, your luggage stays with you, and you get dropped at the hotel door rather than at a rental counter.
How the day works
We collect from MIA, a Miami hotel or a home address, and drive straight up the Turnpike. A stop halfway is normal and included — for families with children we plan it in rather than pretending it will not be needed.
The drop can be anywhere: a Disney or Universal resort, the Orange County Convention Center, a Lake Buena Vista hotel, MCO or Port Canaveral.

Door to door, yes — both land around four hours once you count getting to MIA, security and collecting bags at the other end. Driving just removes the queues and the baggage fees.
How much luggage can we bring?
As much as fits the vehicle, and there is no per-bag charge. For theme park trips with strollers and car seats this is usually the deciding factor.
