Port Everglades to FLL

If you are sailing out of Port Everglades and flying home from FLL, you have the shortest cruise-to-airport connection in the state. The drive itself is a few minutes.

The variable is not the road — it is disembarkation. Ships release passengers in waves, customs takes as long as it takes, and the walk from the ship to the ground transportation area is longer than it looks. That is the part to plan around, not the two miles.

Where your driver meets you

Once you are through customs, your driver is waiting in the terminal's pre-arranged pickup area with a name board. You will have his direct number the evening before, so if you walk off early you can simply message him.

We track the ship's actual berthing rather than the schedule, so an early or late arrival is already accounted for.

Vehicles

Which vehicle for this run

Every vehicle below runs this route. If you are between two sizes, tell us the luggage count as well as the headcount — bags decide it more often than seats.

Sedan or Nautilus

1–4 passengers. Fine for a short hop with cabin bags.

Tahoe or Escalade

4–6 passengers. The usual choice coming off a week's sailing.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

7–14 passengers. Multi-cabin families and small groups, all in one vehicle.

Mini coach / motorcoach

15–56 passengers. Group sailings heading home together.

Good to know

Questions about this route.

What time flight can I book?

With a two-mile transfer, a domestic flight around noon is comfortable for a ship scheduled to dock at seven. That still leaves room for a slow disembarkation.

Can we go straight from the ship to the beach instead?

Yes. Fort Lauderdale beach is minutes away, and we can hold your luggage in the vehicle, then run you to FLL later in the day.

Do you serve every Port Everglades terminal?

Yes, all of them. Give us your cruise line and sailing date and we will confirm the terminal.

Is this cheaper than a taxi?

For one or two people, a taxi is competitive. From four passengers up, and certainly with luggage, a pre-booked vehicle is better value and it is definitely there when you walk out.
